Back in the Swing of Things

January classes are quickly approaching. Is anyone else getting excited? Truth be told – I’m ready to get back at it. I’ve been ready for a week or so—and I need to get back at it or else I’ll keep blowing money over break! This afternoon I’m going to read ahead for one of my classes. I will be starting a new education program this January and want to keep my best foot forward and “buckle down” because the transcript from this degree will be the most recent when I am applying for future PHD programs. I’m also looking forward to sporting some of my new gear! My fiance got me a really nice leather satchel (aka “man purse” or a “murse”) that is not only stylish, but convenient for moving my books and laptop from class to class. I figure it will help me get that “dress for success” feeling. I also am pretty pumped to break into my new notebooks. It’s a simple pleasure of mine to get to “dirty up” new notebooks with notes. Well—I should get back to my studies. I’m trying to read through the first 8th of the bible today so that I can be prepped for tomorrow. I hope everyone has an excellent Sunday!
