Summer Nights

There’s a Rascal Flatts song that’s pretty appropriate for this weekend: Summer Nights.This summer in Minnesota—how festive! There’s plenty of “going ons” going down in St. Paul this time of year, but the best of the best are for us creatures of the night. What do I mean? Let’s just say we’ve got plenty of fireworks. Fireworks! Yes—fireworks! The boy within me is still enthralled by burning, exploding things. Maybe I’ll never grow up, but I still love them. What an interesting use of Creation, right? Kaboom! The Taste of Minnesota offered not only several days of fried delicacies, but several nights of fireworks too. If you didn’t get your fixin’ of fireworks—there were several Independence Day displays all throughout the Twin Cities last night. I was not in the metro area, but managed to get my fill at my old stomping grounds in Wabasha, MN.

Well, what better way to celebrate our countries independence than blowing up a small piece of it? I sincerely hope you’ve had a wonderful Independence Day. Moreover, I pray it was safe too. Have a wonderful day.
