A Rough Week

by Nina

Well, we are one week closer to the end of the semester. It is exciting and wonderful to be back into the rhythm of the campus life, but the transition has been rough. It has been a difficult week for many on campus - with the interruption of flooding in the Burntvedt Apartments and the memorial service on campus for a recent MSM (Master of Sacred Music) graduate.

I pray at the end of this week for all going through transitions, for the many who are heavy with grief, and for all the complexities of life which interrupt, interfere, and complicate our daily lives. I take heart, trusting Christ is with us through it all.

Only 12 weeks to go.

Is the end of the semester close enough to start talking about it? Time seems to really fly by when I'm off the academic calendar.

It is not close enough to start talking about the end of the semester. I have jumped the gun, as they say. Time flies for you because you have the sweetest calendar of all time.
