What's the SCUPE?

Today is day 2 of Chicago Experience 2009. Tomorrow we begin visiting organizations and churches in the Chicago area. Our guide for this journey is Rev. Dr. Yvonne Delk. She is an inspired leader and engaging teacher. Even within the boundaries of a single day she had drawn us in, sharing of herself and welcoming us in sharing of ourselves, our ministries, and our faith.
Today, during the morning and afternoon, we were downtown Chicago at SCUPE Headquarters overlooking the river and Lake Michigan. Tomorrow we will be meeting 13 blocks south. No doubt I'll be updating you on what we learn there and the journey we have begun to take with Rev. Dr. Yvonne Delk who says, "What you see depends on where you sit."
