Life Together

by Tim K. Snyder

Perhaps you were like me. Perhaps you doubted the possibility of "true" community could be built through distributed learning (a combination of online and short-term residential courses). Community is a paradox because it is both a total mystery, and yet simply living life together. So if you're curious about what that means for distributed learning...take look:

Yup. It looks like: summer baseball games // catching up // smiles // the gift of families // food and drink //catching a foul ball // hanging out with the guys // your "morning look" // cooking for each other (doing the dishes for each other in a broken sink) // table fellowship // laughing with the kids.

Guess it's not that different after all.
