a day on the farm

Finally home after two weeks of being in the cities. I tell you what, being in the country never felt so good. The smell of the pigs from the farm across the road, the sight of windmills, barns, and flooded ditches was well worth the wait. One of the best parts of being home is saving two of my three nieces from the evil world of daycare and providing a more meaningful day for the two of them. Today we made it out to a farm about 30 miles away and got to ride horse, tractor, and ate some mean grilled cheese sandwiches. If ya'll are heading home: enjoy it!
