Last Lecture
by Daniel
This Friday was the day of my teaching constituency at North Central College. Michael gave an excellent lecture that brought the Old and New Testaments together. He helped showcase the importance of the Old Testament and dispel some of the misconceptions between its connections to the New Testament. This was especially helpful (and refreshing) for the students to hear. The running joke for most of the semester was that the New Testament was like an extended footnote on the Old Testament. Michael really did a good job of bringing everything full circle. I'm proud of him!
Speaking of the students—they will be presenting their finals this week. The finals aren’t exactly what you would expect. Michael is having the students present information on a topic of their choice...at a coffeehouse! Tomorrow, I will be listening to presentations at a little coffeehouse near campus. I’m excited because two of my favorite things will finally be brought together; coffee and theology! This semester has truly been a blessing. The students at North Central have been wonderful. I’ve learned so much—I certainly hope that it has been fruitful for you. Have an excellent evening.
