Thanksgiving and Beyond

Gobble! Thanksgiving is over. This year I went to my parent’s house in Kellogg, MN for two days with my girlfriend, Sonia. My puppy came with too. He actually had fun sparring with my parent’s terrier, Alphie. Several of my brothers were also in town this time around. It’s pretty rare that so many of us are together at one time. My little brother Chris and his girlfriend Eva made the trip from Massachusetts. Steve made it from Nebraska. My brother Joel also graced us with his presence! He made the trip all the way from Beijing, China. It was truly wonderful to see him. He’s staying with me tomorrow night. I will be the one who sees him off to the airport on Tuesday. It’s kind of sad. He won’t be home for Christmas this year—but it was wonderful to see him. I hope that everyone had a good holiday break. One sixteen pound turkey later and I’m ready for classes to start again.
